Anthrax Vaccine Immunization Program


The Coast Guard has specific guidance on how to evaluate and report suspicious chemical or biological substances.  Refer to ALCOAST 497/01 (Additional Guidance for Prevention and Response for Suspected Exposure to Anthrax Spores/Bacteria), and ALCOAST 464/01  (Procedures for Dealing with Chemical/Biological Agents in the Mail).  These ALCOASTs can be located on the Coast Guard Message Board ; they are not authorized for Internet release.  Additionally,   ALCOAST 484/01 Securing the Military Food Chain is available to view on this site.
