Marketing and Advertising Campaign

The NFIP Co-Op Advertising Program - The Co-Op Program provides advertising tools to help insurance professionals generate leads and expand their portfolios. Agents, WYO companies, and insurance associations can receive 10 to 75 percent reimbursement of advertising costs by utilizing Co-Op advertising in their marketing campaigns. Visit www.floodsmart.gov to learn more about the 2004/2005 Co-Op Program.

FloodSmart - the new NFIP consumer marketing campaign has launched. It will drive consumers to call the NFIP 800-number or their insurance agent. Direct response television, direct mail, a new consumer web site, online and print advertising, and public relations will all carry the message. And a Stakeholder Relations program will build better communications with the insurance industry, lenders, realtors, and emergency managers.

The New Web Site - www.floodsmart.gov helps consumers learn their flood risk and find an agent close to home.

The Leads Program - bringing customers direct to agents - FREE! The NFIP encourages agents to sign up today, adobe acrobat logo identifying linked pdf file application form -- 45 KB, text version -- 4 KB, to receive free leads for new customers in their area. The Leads Program refers people who call the NFIP toll-free number to agents who write flood insurance in their zip code.

The Monthly Newsletter - will keep you informed on the progress of the campaign.
