Evaluations

The Social Marketing Edition is currently being evaluated by the Minnesota Department of Health as well as the Virginia Department of Health.

Minnesota is evaluating the disk by applying it to a project to increase the public health work force. Virginia is using a diabetes prevention project aimed at a local chamber of commerce to evaluate CDCynergy with small business as the target audience.

Members of the Office of Communication are working with the Instituto Nacional de Salud Pública in Mexico to implement and evaluate the Micronutrient Edition of CDCynergy. This work includes translating the edition into Spanish and one of the native Indian languages. Case studies are located in Vera Cruz and Chipas.
