To view web site links within a PDF in a separate browser window, follow these simple steps: 1. Open Adobe Acrobat Reader.
2. Go to Edit, Preferences, General.
3. On the left-hand side, there is a menu. Click on Options.
4. Under Miscellaneous, verify that "Open Cross Document Links in Same Window" is not selected.
5. Hit OK.
These simple steps will prevent you from losing your place within a PDF document where you "clicked" on a web site link.
