CDC Presidential Management Fellows Program (PMF) |
Established by Executive Order in 1977,
the Presidential Management Fellows Program
is designed to attract outstanding graduate
students into the Federal government. The
Program is highly competitive and potential
candidates must be nominated by a dean,
director, or chairperson of their graduate
academic program. The application process
begins in September with a review of
submitted nominations and concludes in
January, when final selections from, among
the nominees, are made based on a review of
applications, individual and/or group
interviews, and evaluation of writing
