?How do I know if my problem is something that Representative Matsui may be able to help solve?

Representative Matsui can look into matters pertaining to federal government departments and agencies including the Internal Revenue Service (IRS), the Social Security Administration, Immigration and Naturalization Service (INS), and the Department of Veterans Affairs.  To contact federal agencies directly, visit our agency directory, or call the federal government "First Call" hotline at 1-800-688-9889.

In order to provide the highest level of constituent service, we kindly ask that you direct all inquiries to Representative Matsui's district office located in downtown Sacramento.   You can contact the district office:

Regardless of how you contact the office, Representative Matsui's staff must receive a signed Privacy Release before the office can open a congressional inquiry into your case. This form requires the free Adobe Acrobat Reader. If you cannot download the form, please contact Representative Matsui district office in Sacramento to ask that a paper form be mailed to you.

Representative Matsui does not have jurisdiction over state and local government agencies or matters being decided in the courts and he cannot offer assistance in these types of cases.
