Current Status:
The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service has developed a draft Comprehensive Conservation Plan (CCP) and Environmental Assessment (EA) for the Sacramento River Refuge. On the left side of this page is a link to the draft CCP/EA and its Appendices. The public comment period for the Draft CCP/EA begins July 8, 2004, and ends August 20, 2004.

Purpose of CCP:
As part of the National Wildlife Refuge System, the Sacramento River Refuge is required to have a CCP in place to guide the management of fish, wildlife, and plant habitats and public uses for a period of 15 years.
