BEA

BEA Logo

Giving the BLM improved business processes, data, applications, and technology, through Enterprise Architecture, for better IT investment.

The format of this website aligns with the Federal Enterprise Architecture (FEA) reference models. Read an article on the FEA to find out why it is the universal language for the BLM.

How do I find what I need on this site? If you are new to Enterprise Architecture (EA) in the BLM, take time to read the Introduction to Federal Enterprise Architecture. You can also visit related EA links from the "Beyond the BLM" sidebar on each page. Use the navigation bar on the left to read about the BEA projects. The four components of the BEA include: Business, Data, Applications, and Technology, aligned with the Department of Interior (DOI). Familiarize yourself with the projects contained under each component and refer back to them often for the latest information.
