  • Washington Post Online - 18 July 2000 - The Washington Post highlighted CALL's web site as "One of the best".

  • 1996 Vice-Presidential Hammer Award - The Hammer Award is a special recognition award given by Vice President Al Gore to teams who have made significant contributions in support of the Presidents National Partnership for Reinventing Government (NPR) principles. Those principles are: Putting Customers First, Cutting Red Tape, Empowering Employees and Getting Back to Basics. The award consists of a $6.00 hammer, a small ribbon and a card from the Vice President, all encased in an aluminum frame. The award recognizes new standards of excellence achieved by teams helping to reinvent government

  • 1996 Computerworld Smithsonian Award - The Computerworld Smithsonian Program (CWSP) was established in 1989 to document the progress of information technology in the public and private sectors. Each year CWSP identifies and recognizes a number of organizations as innovative users of information technology.
