Cancer Information Service
The Cancer Information Service (CIS) provides the latest, most accurate cancer information. In the U.S., the CIS receives calls between 9:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. local time, Monday through Friday at 1-800-4-CANCER (1-800-422-6237).
Publications Ordering Service
View and order free NCI publications on dozens of cancer-related subjects. Educational material are available in English and Spanish.

The National Women's Health Information Center (NWHIC)
The NWHIC provides a gateway to Federal and other women's health information resources. A toll free call center at 1-800-994-9662 and TDD at 1-888-220-5446 is also available to provide health information.
 
Health finder (U.S. Department of Health and Human Services)
The women's health information page, co-sponsored by the National Women's Health Information Center (NWHIC) of the Public Health Service's Office on Women's Health, features selected links to health resources on topics of special interest to women: breast cancer, depression, domestic violence, and many more, based on the requests for information that healthfinder(r) and NWHIC receive.

Biology of the Mammary Gland
Developed and maintained by the Laboratory of Genetics and Physiology at the National Institute of Diabetes, Digestive and Kidney Diseases, this site provides information on the trans-NIH Mammary Genome Anatomy Project, an interactive histology atlas, links and access to tools and technologies, experimental models, and reviews on development, function, tumorigenesis, and gene expression.

Department of Defense, Congressionally Directed Medical Research Programs (CDMRP)
The CDMRP is a partnership among the military, scientists, physicians, and the community, bringing together disparate spheres of interest to create a highly focused scientific endeavor to support research on breast, prostate, and ovarian cancers, osteoporosis, and neurofibromatosis.
