Of all the traumatic events in the history of the United States of America, 
none may be remembered so vividly as those that occurred on September 11, 2001.

regarding our nation's War on Terrorism.  

 


NOTICES & UPDATES

Congressional mail procedures have changed since the September 11th attacks. 
Because of biological threats, all incoming mail is now shipped to an off-site 
facility where it is tested for any traces of biological contamination. 
Checking the mail is an issue of security for the thousands of people who work 
in these office buildings on a daily basis. Mail delivery has resumed, but at a much 
slower pace.  As a reminder: when sending mail to any congressional office, 
please remember to include a return address and complete mailing address. 
Please keep tape, staples and external decorations to a minimum. 
Properly addressed mail will take less time to reach the offices.
