Many of the letters, telephone calls and emails I receive from residents of the Second District ask me to support a particular bill or ask my views on a certain issue.
As your representative, it certainly helps me to know your views so I can represent you better. I also have a responsibility to let you know what Congress is doing on issues that matter to you and to let you know how I voted.
The following pages provide a general overview of what is happening in Congress relative to issues that I hear from constituents about the most often. Helpful internet links are included when they can lead you to more information. You can also search the votes we have taken in the House of Representatives during the 108th Congress and past sessions.
