These estimating tools should be used with discretion. Actual emissions from individual sources may vary considerably from values estimated by using emission and speciation factors. Source-specific emission test data are generally preferred, when available. EIG welcomes any emission data that would help improve the emissions estimating tools presented here.

Copies of the tools mentioned above are available from different sources and under differing conditions related to requester status (government agency, commercial entity, nonprofit organization, Freedom Of Information Act requestor, etc.).

EMACT EMIS Exit EPA Disclaimer
Greenfield Environmental's EMACTTM EMIS combines advanced statistical models and current CTG-EIIP methods to calculate emissions from complicated process scenarios including vented batch headspaces. Greenfield's core process competencies include batch, continuous, and polymerization and general synthesis operations. EMACT includes a comprehensive reports module facilitating the management of site and corporate compliance activities.
MDI Emissions Estimator Software Exit EPA Disclaimer
MDI Emissions Estimator Software is a tool that provides a fast and convenient method to estimate MDI emissions from typical process applications and activities. API (Alliance for the Polyurethane Industry)
Mitchell Scientific's Emission Master® Software Exit EPA Disclaimer
Rapidly develop air emission inventories to help meet state and federal reporting needs. This EPA compliant software uses standard process models in conjunction with the user's chemical, recipe, and other related information to calculate speciated and/or classified emissions for point source process vents. The resulting emission data may then be imported into Emissions Accountant or similar corporate database reporting resource tool.
PirnieAIR Software Exit EPA Disclaimer
PirnieAIR® emissions estimation software is a tool that uses plant data to compute air emissions from a wide variety of common industrial batch and continuous operations using USEPA-published engineering equations.
