ITP provides cost-shared funding of up to 80% for forest products R&D projects that address the research priorities defined by the industry in its vision and roadmaps. All awards are based on a competitive process open to collaborative teams, including producers, suppliers, universities, national labs, research institutes, and others. The American Forest and Paper Association plays an active role in coordinating industry participation.
