Operations & Technician Level Courses
2018-2019 Georgia Infectious Disease Transport Courses (Operations and Technician Levels). These courses are highly interactive and free of charge to attend as they are sponsored by the Georgia Department of Public Health/State Office of EMS.
Dates for the classes are as follows:
Operations - December 11 (Dublin); February 12 (Columbus); or March 12 (Forsyth)
Technician - February 13-14 (Columbus); or March 13-14 (Forsyth)
NOTE: You must have completed the Operations Level training prior to taking the more advanced Technician Level course, so plan accordingly.
EMS CEUs are available for those attending classes.

Infectious Disease Refresher Course
The Infectious Disease Refresher course will be available in-person in January - May 2019. This course is highly interactive and is open to all EMS personnel who have previously com-pleted Infectious Disease or Biosafety Transport Operations AND Technician-Level Courses.
Dates for the classes are as follows:
January 16, 2019: Augusta, GA
March 20, 2019: Marietta, GA
March 21, 2019: Henry County (Central Georgia)
May 22, 2019: North Georgia Area
May 23, 2019: Forsyth, GA (GPSTC)
It is a 1-day course offered from 0800-1700 and includes 8 hours of CEU’s.
