ORDERING A TRANSCRIPT
The AARTS staff fills over 2,000 requests per
week.
Transcript requests are processed on the day they are received and
mailed not later than the following working day
to academic institutions, soldiers,
veterans, Army Education Centers, and employers around the world. You may
obtain an AARTS request form from your Education Center or you can get it
here at our web site. If you've never had a transcript before, we
suggest that you visit your Education Center first
so that they can explain to you how to use the transcript, its contents
and benefits. To request your
transcript, the following information is provided:

(Please note: Due to minimal staffing, we are unable to call you
with verification that your fax was received by the AARTS Operations
Center.)

To request a personal copy of
your AARTS Transcript:
Fill out and mail or fax (see address and fax
number above) our AARTS Transcript Request Form or mail or fax a letter
(hand-written is OK) or send us an email

(Please note: Although we can accept an email or faxed request, we are unable to
email or fax your
transcript back to you at this time. You will need to provide us with a return postal
address (your home or unit address) for us to mail you your transcript.)
If you are not using the form, please be sure to include the following information in
your letter or email request :
- Name
- Social Security Number
- BASD or PEBD
- Your mailing address
- Current status (i.e., Regular Army, National
Guard, Reserve, or Veteran)
- Method we can contact you during the day
(7:00-3:30 CST, phone number or email address)
You can also print a personal
copy of your web
transcript.
*E-mail requests
are currently limited to personal copies only
of your AARTS transcript due to the signature requirement for
release to third parties. However, if you have a scanner, you can scan your
signed form or letter and send it
to us as an email attachment and we will then send an official copy to a third party.
We can only send official transcripts if the request includes
a signature or was requested via our secure
transcript site (use link above). Our
email address is listed
above for personal requests.

To request an institutional copy*
of your AARTS Transcript to be sent to a third party (college, potential employer, other):
Fill out and mail or fax (see address and fax
number above) our AARTS Transcript Request Form or mail or fax a letter
(hand-written is OK). If you are not using the form, please be sure to include the
following information in your letter request:
- Name
- Social Security Number
- BASD or PEBD
- Current status (i.e., Regular Army, National
Guard, Reserve, or Veteran)
- Your mailing address (if you would also like a personal copy)
- Accurate mailing address of third party
(Soldiers/veterans
occasionally have a requirement to provide an institutional copy of
their AARTS transcript as part of an enrollment/licensure/employment
packet. If so, please specify that you need the institutional copy
mailed to you in a sealed envelope AND provide the complete name and
mailing address of the college/employer/licensure board, etc. on your
request so that it may be entered into the AARTS database.)
- Your signature
- Method we can contact you during the day

You can also request an official copy of your transcript from the list of institutions at our
web transcript site.
If you don't see your institution listed, you will need to follow the
instructions above as web requests are currently limited to the colleges
available at our site.
