    NPS, Inventory and Monitoring Program & the Alaska GIS Support Office: Facilitates the organization and use of data themes. This tool allows users to create lists of themes that are relevant to particular projects, areas or management issues. It catalogs these themes, so that a user simply selects a theme from a popup list and the Theme Manager adds it to a view along with a descriptive title, displays it with a legend, perhaps adds hotlinks or help files, and links it to metadata.

  • DRG-Tools Extension for ArcView 3.x
    California Department of Fish and Game, Will Patterson: Provides tools to facilitate side-by-side viewing (edgematching) of Digital Raster Graphic (DRG) scanned quad images created by the Teale Data Center (Teale), the Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA), and the United States Geological Survey (USGS). Other utilities are also provided, including options for isolating particular image features such as contours or hydrography. You must have ArcView version 3.0 or higher in the 3.x series to use the extension.

    California Department of Fish and Game, Will Patterson: This extension provides various image-related utilities, including specific features for use with single-band images (such as topographic map scans, DRG, DOQ, NOAA chart, and other pseudocolor/color-indexed products) as well as multi-band images (such as true color airphotos).
  • Spatial Tools Extension for ArcView 3.2 with Spatial Analyst
    USGS - BRD, Alaska Science Center - Biological Science Office: Contains a collection of 32 tools that extend the capabilities of Spatial Analyst. The majority of tools are implementations of functions available in spatial analyst from avenue programming or awkwardly in the map calculator but not from the menu, button, or tool interface. These include functions to clean up, assemble, aggregate, warp and analyze grids.
  • Animal Movement Extension for ArcView 3.2
    USGS - BRD, Alaska Science Center - Biological Science Office: Contains a collection of over 40 functions specifically designed to aid in the analysis of animal movement. This data could be collected from radio tags, sonic tags, Argos satellite tags or observational data. The program is designed to implement a wide variety of animal movement functions in an integrated GIS environment. The program also has significant utility for analyzing other point phenomena. Can be used with our without Spatial Analyst Extension.
